Ello ello, C++ is the name ain’t it?
Pfft, remember me? Zelnen? Nah.. proboly not. Haven’t blogged in ages me. I’ve been totally addicted to GFX. Yup thats right, sad isn’t it? GFX… thats not all, i’ve been hooked on making signatures. I’ve been doing for the past month. Getting active in GFX commuities such as Gemz Shining Forums, and Chaos GFX, even earning some credits on gamerenders.
Well finally the madness has stopped. I recently found a game develepment community called GameDev . It a very very active community which focuses on game develepment. That includes progamming, story lines, GFX, 3D modeling etc. So as you guessed, i’m back into progamming. But i’m not talking about the little Javascript and PHP. I’m talking big stuff.
Yep, C++ is the name. You see on gamedev there running a C++ wordshop. Basically everyone purchases Teach yourself C++ in 21 days (5th edition). Then everyone is expected to read a few chapters a week, a topic is then made where any questions about the chapters read can be asked and answered. Then each month a project using the C++ you’ve learned is asked to be completed. So i’ve ordered the book so soon i’ll start learning =P. Once i’ve learned enough i’ll start on C++ Workshop – Project 1
So there you have it =P goodbye GFX and hello C++ =P
Busy
Well i’ve been pretty busy lately, thats why i haven’t done a blog entry for a while. But right now i’m bored so meh. I’m still in the school holidays, it’s ok but i get really bored now and then. I’ve just been busy doing coding etc. I’ve been coding my own blog system, it’s going well. All is done apart from the ACP. Which will be done pretty soon. Other than that i’ve been working on the project for iFusions coding tournament. It’s going well, i just wish we could get contact of IMP so he can do his share in the project but meh.
WebWorkx
Thats the new name for my project. WebWorx. Pretty smexy don’t you think? Anyway i’ve been doing alot of javascript lately and i’ve decided to get back into PHP. So i was thinking of a project and here’s what i’ve come up with.
Basically WebWorkx will have a number of products. One being a tutorial system. Basically you will register a tutorial site. The tutorial site will basically involvolve log in register. Once you’ve done that you can view the tutorials on the site. Or submit one of your own. It will also have an ACP and a few extra features. You will be able to skin it yourself and there will be many different layouts. I’ll have some wrappers in there as well so you can modify it with DOM. Anyway thats the basica project. One main scene of it though will be the graphics. So i’m going to need someone who’s decent at GFX to work with me. So if your reading this and think you’ll like to help out please post. It will mainly consist of making markers, buttons, the banner, a few snazzy gradients and a logo etc.
Anyway thats the basic idea.. so meh.
Over the hedge
Today i went to see over the hedge the movie with my lil brother. At first i thought it was totally boring. But at about half way i was really enjoying it. It’s got a good story line and the animation and characters are amazing. It not a must see, but it’s one to go and see on a rainy day when bored. 7/10
Anyway yeah other than that i haven’t really done anything. I’ve been trying my hand at GFX again but i really suck. So i’ve given up on GFX for life. The only reason i turn to GFX is because i get totally bored. But i’m going into town tomorrow to buy Counter Strike Source so my boredom will be over =P. Anyway i would do some coding, but the code for iFusions tournament needs Verm to do something first, then i do my part. But meh i don’t mind, i need to think up a few codes to do in the meantime.

Teh Mystery Project ZOMG!!
Well many of you know there’s a coding tournament going on at iFusion. The team was myself Verminox, IceMetalPunk and Slaytanist. But that was one person too many, so James made me pick a number from 1-4 and i picked number 2 which was slaytanist so he had to be transferred from my team to another.
Anyway so far our project isn’t doing to good. I’m the only one who’s acctually done something so far lol. It’s 220 lines long so far which isn’t much. But hopefully Verminox will log onto MSN soon and he can get some of the Ajax done. There will be too hard bits to the project. One i will not mention because you will guess what the code is, but the other bit is making it admin manageable through the ACP. But we’re get it done. We have exactly a month and have to PM James every week with the code so far. So wish us luck 
Skinning
Well i hang around the SZ alot, i thought i may as well get into skinning. I have way to much spare time. So anyway Kro has been teaching how to skin. So anyway i know CSS but my GFX skills our poor. So i’m starting my designing Maintitles. Here are the poor attempts i’ve done so far.

iFusion Coding Tournament
Finally it’s just about started. A while back some guy started a topic about a Coding tournament. James the admin of iFusion said it could only take place it we got enough coders to join. About a week later:

that works on Opera 9, FireFox 1.5 and Internet Explorer 6. If you want to include Safari support, that’s great, and obviously more useful at the end.
The teams are coming on well, I think the proboards one works out evenly if there are two more teams of 3, and the invisionFree one works out also if ElRocco is added to the list, and Epsilekt wants to work on his own.
Each member of the team will have to show progress in the hack, rather than letting the other members do it all. Codes should be commented wherever possible – and coding style is also a key. No bunching everything on one line to make it smaller – K & R style if possible but as long as it’s readable that’s great.
Peter and myself will judge the codes through a number of criteria revealed after – and an overall score for the hack smile.gif

Time for teh blogging!
I haven’t blogged in a while and i have nothing better do do so meh i might as well blog. Not that anyone reads this thing. Apart from a few people, i wish one day to log onto my blog and find a few comments on one of my posts. Ah…
Anyway recently i’ve been to the dentists because i’ve been having route canal treatment. It’s all finished now and it didn’t hurt at all. Apart from is stings a bit when they stick the needle in your mouth to numb you. Other than that it’s fine.
Anyway recently i’ve found a new interesting forum to spend some of my time at. It’s called Studio Zero and it’s got to great admins. Chris and Xylish, Chris is a great coder for PB. Anyway there’s been lots of coding things going on recently. I’m currently battling Chris on iFusion. Challenge is to make an RPG component for IF, time limit is a week. I’ve nearly finished my entry it’s pretty smexy but Chris will proboly have cooked up something way better. Also at iFusion there’s a big coding tournament going on between IF and PB coders, it’s going to be great. Anyway my MSN with elrocco is highlighting up (meaning i have a message!) so untill next time you sad people who are still reading!

Ok well tomorrow is thursday. There's no math at school but it's still a horriable day. Once i get back from school first of all i have to go to the dentist! It's a 1 hour long treatment. Apparantly the only bit that will hurt is when they numb my mouth but meh. Then after that i have a guitar lesson. Thats good but it's my first one and my mouth will still be numb lol so it's really annoying. So meh wish me luck
